I have a huge favor to ask of all you from the Orlando area again.
For those of you that are working, could you give me a link to your company's web site? Pretty please! I'm checking out what kind of jobs are open, just to get an idea, but places like Monster & Career Builder aren't really helping, most of the places on there seem shady. I'm ideally looking for a job in marketing, but anything would be nice, just so I can get an idea! Thanks again!!

The girls and I went to see John Corbett in concert last Tuesday. He is a sweetheart, he stayed to meet everyone there. His music is also a lot better than I expected it to be.

I took the GMAT on Thursday. Has anyone else ever taken it? I did horribly on the math part, I would have done better if I would have taken it during high school.

| HELP! |
[01 Feb 2006|04:31pm] |
I have a question for any of you that are from the Orlando area! I think I may be going to Rollins for Grad school. Some friends seem to think Winter Park is skeezy, so any help as to which parts of Orlando are good to live in and which parts I should avoid would be very helpful!! It would be nice if it is close to Rollins. But, more than anything I need something not insanely expensive and something in a younger neighborhood. Thanks a ton!!!

Darts is a great game! Clem and I dominated Dani and Selena. Thank you Brother's for 10 cents wings and $1 shots of Jose.
Bestest is coming to visit me tomorrow! Saturday night is the Motion City Soundtrack concert at SMU, Sunday is the basketball game (Team "DAVE").
I took my nephew to the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan on Monday. We had a blast and Joe Nathan is definitely not hard on the eyes. ;)
Back to my internship...

I was on the front page of the newspaper again today. This time it was because while I was working for the MLK Celebration at school I volunteered to have my hair worked on. The paper totally made up stuff and said that I said it though, it makes me look like an idiot. Ok, not really, but it was sort of funny.
I also learned how to double dutch and how to play dominoes. Very interesting. There is a speaker tomorrow night, but I'm going to go to the basketball game instead.
I went out with Beth and a bunch of girls last night. It was crazy fun. I don't think I have ever danced so much in my life! I've gotten no sleep this weekend, so I am off to bed!

I'm on the front page of the newspaper today w/ Justin Timberlake.
Ok, so every Thursday our paper has a section called Live! that has all the upcoming concerts, art gallery events etc. So, they asked everyone to send in their photos of them w/ celebrities for a special edition of Live! I sent in my pics w/ Justin, Vince Vaughn, and Christian Slater, because I figured most people would know who they are. So, today I get the newspaper and on the top of the front page is a little pic of me and Justin advertising the Live! insert that is inside. And in the actual insert Justin is on the front again and our picture w/ the description is in the inside. Pretty hilarious considering I thought they would choose my picture w/ Vince or Christian before they would choose my one with Justin for sure. Quite amusing.
Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush are doing an autograph signing at MOA next week. Yay for One Tree Hill cast members!

Better late than never...
Last Wednesday I drove up to Nicole's in Minneapolis. Love her new apartment! We watched some of the Carson Daly shows w/ Joe Firstman since I missed almost all of them. Then, we went to see RENT! Loved it! There were only 2 little scenes I didn't care for. After Rent we got ready and by ready I mean got drunk. Nicole makes some strong drinks, that's all I'm going to say! ;) Oooh, but I got to wear her super cute shoes!
Alyson came and picked us up and we headed over to The Fine Line. We got there during the first band. No one was standing by the stage, so being sufficiently drunk I made Alyson and Nicole come dance with me at the front. Once we got up there then everyone else started to come up as well! The first 2 bands were fun, but then it was time for Firstman. His set was really short, but of course great! Met his girlfriend. She was nice, but she looks about 18. Astounded Joe by knowing the words to Sunshine (you gave us the CD dork).
( Joe Firstman Photos! )
Thanksgiving was good. Spent some time in WI w/ my sister and nephew.
This week is going to be hell at school. We got our case competition stuff today. It is due next Tuesday and the presentations are next Thursday.
The bright side of things is that I am going to be seeing Al sometime next week! The weather better not get horrible and ruin our plans! I haven't seen him in 3 1/2 years!

Last night was interesting, I spent the night outside of Target waiting in line to buy an XBox 360. Definitely not for me, I was with my friend Jason who wanted to buy 2. He is going to sell the extra one and give me 1/2 the profits! Not bad for doing something I am so good at...waiting!
I'm going home for Thanksgiving break in a little bit. Alyson, Nicole, and I are going to see Firstman on Wednesday, it should be fun! Hopefully Andrea can make it too! And of course, we are going to see RENT! :D
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Last night Alyson and I went to Milwaukee for Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show. It was him, along with 4 other comedians and 3 special guests; Keir O'Donnell (the gay brother from Wedding Crashers), Justin Long (Crossroads, Dodgeball, Jeepers Creepers), and the guy who played Ralphie in A Chirstmas Story. The show was amazing. I was laughing the whole time.
We got to go on Vince's bus for the "meet & greet." Muhahaha. It was only him and Keir. We had met Justin already (he is so incredibly nice), before the show, but sadly we didn't get to meet the other 4 comedians. Anyway, on the tourbus we walked in introduced ourselves to Vince, he shook our hands, asked us if we liked the show, etc. I talked to Keir a bit, apologized for not reckognizing him at first when I had seen him outside earlier, talked to Vince about coming to MN, nothing too exciting. Keir said he was going to call us when he was back in town, haha, riiight. We took a picture with Vince and I wanted to do a picture with him doing the earmuffs thing from Old School and as soon as I said "I have to do this one picture with you because I am obsessed with it" he already had his hands up over his ears. He totally knew what I was going to ask. Then, I was like well I don't want to do it anymore if everyone asks you to do it, I should have known better that it was going to be unoriginal. And he was just like no, we're doing this, we're taking this picture. So we did.
So it was a great night. Vince is so nice and polite in person and so are Keir and Justin. And of course, hilarious!!
Time for pictures (don't mind my 900 chins, gross)
( All you gotta do is say earmuffs )

Well, I'm back at school. My last, first day of class was today. Crazy huh?
Last night I went to the MN State Fair to see Ryan Cabrera and Tyler Hilton. My friend, Sara works for Tyler, she works on his web site. So, she and I got to do merch for Tyler. Yay for getting in free and getting backstage passes. I didn't get to watch a lot of the show, but I could hear it! And what I saw of it was really great. We hung out with Tyler and his band in his trailer until they left right before Ryan got offstage. Then, we went to Ryan's trailer and hung out with him for a bit. I had no idea that he was SO nice. He is amazing not to mention hilarious! You can see all of my pictures here ( Or check out the best ones here )

The Backstreet Boys show was amazing! Photos are here: http://www.dotphoto.com/go.asp?l=sevoge02&p=CC2D&CID=1391139&E=Y&ILD=1115842
I dyed my hair blonde on the top layer, it only lasted 3 days. I dyed it all brown again last night and the blonde coming through creates some nice highlights!
I have an interview for an internship today at noon at my old high school.
My mommy took me shopping last night and is taking me again on Saturday for school stuff. Yeah, school, it starts on Tuesday. As of May I will be done and I couldn't be happier. I have solid plans of moving to NYC, I just wish I could do it now.
Randomly, I also saw Aly&AJ (from the Disney Channel) in concert. They were actually pretty good!
I love my iPod and my new laptop.
Mark Feehily from Westlife came out of the closet the other day. He and his boyfriend, Kevin (who used to also be in a boyband in England) went the huge gay club in London a day after he came out and they got a standing ovation. I love them both.
OK, that's it for the catchup entry. I have to try and update this thing more often. If ay of you have GreatestJournal, let me know, I use that one more often!
